Yamaha XJ 700 Maxim Chopper/Cruiser (US Import) in Bournemouth, Dorset for sale

This is a 1985 XJ700 Maxim, US Import. The bike is pretty much standard, but the exhaust baffles have been drilled (sounds nice, not too loud) and the seats have been reshaped and recovered by the previous owner. The handle bars and paint are also non standard. I've owned the bike for 7 months, and it has been very reliable with no faults at all. It was owned by a friend of mine before me for two years and he also had no issues with the bike. It will come with 6 months tax. The MOT is until August. It passed the last one with one advisory (rear tyre getting low) It's a really comfortable bike and a great cruiser. The only reason I'm selling it is that I miss my old CBR and need to sell this to get another one! £950 ono
