VW GOLF 2.8 VR6 AUTO HIGHLINE (Spares or Repair) in Bournemouth, Dorset for sale

1994 VW GOLF 2.8 VR6 AUTO (HIGHLINE) Gunmetal Grey Metalic. I bought the car from a friend 5 years ago, but only used it for 1 year. It has been garaged since. My intention was to export it for a project, which is not going to happen. The car had always been a first starter, but I tried to start the car last week with a new battery just to find out the starter motor is jammed due to the time the car stayed out of use, so I am selling the car as spares or repair, however the car is too good to be broken and it can easily be brought to its former glory with a bit of money and TLC. The only time I took it for a MOT, it passed with flying colours. Now it is up for sale as I am about to graduate from University and ready to move abroad. The bodywork is good, only one dent. The car has been re-sprayed at some point and the paintwork looks good, but if you look close you will find small scratches, blemishes, cracks and 3 or 4 small rusty points, as you would expect of an 18 years old car. The car is very quick and smooth and sound amazing from the lovely 2.8 V6 engine. Definitely not for the faint hearted. After these 3 years I found the oil slightly emulsified under the filler cap. I have been told it might be the head gasket; however the car never shown any symptoms related to this problem. I am not a mechanic, so you are more than welcome to come around and check it out. The car is SORNED, so no MOT or TAX. It shows 74k miles, which might be genuine, considering the interior. The interior is in very good condition. The car is very comfortable, and the (heated) leather seats looks and feels great. It has original 15’’VW alloy wheels with good tires [2 are virtually new (£170 with tracking)]. This car also comes with an electric sunroof (not working, electrically OK though) and air conditioning (was working well!!!).You would only normally get one of these if specially ordered with both from new. The electricals are all ok, including the central locking, but the ABS light is on (common fault and easy to fix). I have described the car as honest and the best as I can. This is an unmolested example of this classic car, and have not been modified or messed about with. V5 on my name. Price reflects what the leather seats, wheels, tires, and CD player are worth alone.
