Quad 989 Electrostatic Classic Gold Speakers. These superb internationally acclaimed award winning speakers were purchased in August 2006 and stored in non-smoking centrally heated room for several years before general use, due to working away from home. Only little use in last few years due to second system usage. Speakers are in pristine condition with no scratches, dents or dings to paintwork or hard wood tops. Incredible Quad detailed sound, wide soundstage and low, solid bass. If you are looking at this ad then I am assuming you will be familiar with 989's and what they are capable of. Although we are ready to move house & my systems are all packed I could set up an amplifier & tuner to give limited demonstration to serious buyers. This is the reason for selling my beautiful speakers because my new living room is far too small to accommodate them. So this is a rare chance to grab a bargain. Buyer must collect as courier charges would be very high for these large and heavy speakers. Original packing boxes are available but flat packed at present.
